Cherie,
There are several sources near FW for organic produce, as well as, for meat products. The TOFGA conference that was in Mesquite late January had an organic new farmers workshop to help encourage additional local farms, csa's, etc.

Heaven Sent Produce www.heavensentproduce.com is in Arlington off of S. Cooper exiting I-20. Coleen Thornton there plans on starting a CSA next year and has a pick-up at her home with foods she is currently growing.

Lavender Hill Farms will have organic produce on their property for the picking estimating their start date in March.

There is another farm on S. Bowen between Arbrook and Pleasant Ridge that will have produce & berries. They are in Arlington.

Listings of local farmers can be found at: www.tofga.org, www.localharvest.org, www.pickyourown.org

Burgundy Pasture Beef- has home & office deliveries of meat products.

Truth Hill Farms also has meat products.

There is a dairy goat farm in Fort Worth, as well.

Organic herbs- Boudreau Herb Farm Mineral Wells (W-Sat 9-5) Jo Anne- 940-325-8674.

Organic essential oils- Judy Griffin, Ph.D-Chemical Nutrition @ www.aromahealthtexas.com

We would be interested in trading farm labor for produce. We are a small organic farm north of Terrell.
